PALLIACCO is a non-profit organization providing its services and activities free of charge, in French and in English, to residents of the Laurentian MRC.
Our Mission, Vision and Values
Out Mission is to help maintain the quality of life of persons with terminal illnesses such as cancer, of care givers and of those who are grieving, by providing support, accompaniment and respite services in the home.
Our Vision, in cooperation with our partners, is to provide accompaniment, respite and support services of a high quality, with the goal of reducing the physical, mental, emotional, and psychosocial suffering of patients and families in the Laurentian MRC who are in need of it.
Our Values and Principles are:
• The needs of patients and their caregivers are our first priority
We remain closely focussed on the needs of the patient,
and particularly on the needs of caregivers, to provide support,
refer them to community resources, and to assist them in their journey through difficult times.
